 This book has instruction on how to update your Units PIN in order to accept online applications for your Unit. Committee Chairs – We invite you to do some research and make sure your Pack, Crew, or Troop has an updated PIN.

 

 

 

NEW YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING

A new updated Youth Protection program was introduced in February. All adults registered in scouting must take the new training by October 1, 2018 regardless of expiration date. Any new registrations also require a Youth Protection training date after February 1, 2018. To take the training, log into my.scouting.org and click on dashboard. The new program is divided three instructional sections and then a test section. You must complete all 4 sections to be Youth Protection trained. It is recommended to ALL Adult leaders to not wait for recharter season to get the new training done! Incomplete YPT will cause for recharter returns and incomplete processing which can stall a Youth members advancement!
